Ada E. Scharnhorst

Ada Elizabeth Scharnhorst (nee McDaniel), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Grant N. Scharnhorst; cherished daughter of the late Lewis Edward and Nettie Mae McDaniel. Devoted mother of Suzanne (Jack) Shipley and Grant (Kelly) Scharnhorst, III; loving grandmother of Anthony (Kelly) and Morgan Shipley, and Kacey and Kolin Scharnhorst; treasured great-grandmother of Lucas and Elizabeth Shipley; dear sister of the late Wanda Ward and the late Yuell Everett McDaniel; stepdaughter of the late Denny Bratcher; loving aunt and sister-in-law. 

Ada loved to travel and was always ready for an adventure.  She enjoyed dabbling in photography, quilting, and stained-glass art. Ada was very creative and talented. She loved and cherished her family more than anything Ada was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Ada's name to Evelyn's House.
