Adeline "Addie" Riordan, 90, of St. Louis, died of natural causes on Monday, February 25, 2013 in St. Louis, MO. She was born December 17, 1922 in Cranston, RI to Costanza and Maria Moretti. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Henry, Joseph, Rose, Diana and Victoria and her beloved grandson, Daniel. She and William Riordan were married on January 28, 1949 in Norfolk, VA, thence followed by 64 wondrous years of love, adventure, and success. She is survived by her husband, William Riordan; two daughters, Linda Watson (Wayne) of St. Louis, MO and Kim Gibbs (Jock) of Quincy, IL; a son, Rick Riordan (Michelle) of Fort Meyers, FL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will celebrate her life and receive friends at Wayne and Linda Watson's, 7242 Powder Ridge Ct., St. Louis, MO following the burial at Jefferson Barracks. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to either the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) or the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org). She said: "I married my hero; doesn't get any better than that."
