Adrian Laurel Lewis

Adrian Laurel Lewis, of St. Peters, MO, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving husband of 61 years to Joyce Lewis; beloved son of the late Basil and Margaret Lewis; devoted father of Cynthia (David) Keeney, Sandra (Chuck) Ponder, and Allen (Julie) Lewis;  cherished grandfather of Melissa (Josh) Hargrave, Trevor (Liz) Ponder, Steven (Ashley) Keeney, Corey (Emily) Ponder, Megan (Doug Lewis) Lewis, and Racheal (Stuart) Chamberalyne;  treasured great-grandfather of Izabel, Ruby, Gannon, Nora, and Edith; dear brother of Richard Lewis, Kathryn Rucinski, and Raeford Lewis. Adrian is preceded in death by his two brothers, Leander Lewis and George Michael Lewis.

Adrian proudly served his country in the United States Army. Adrian was a member of the St. Charles Lodge #241 AF & AM and Church of the Sheppard United Methodist Church. He retired after many years of service working for General Motors. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed painting, and woodworking. Adrian was known for his practical jokes and his “Adrianisms.” Adrian’s family was the light of his life, he dearly loved and cherished spending time with them. Adrian was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
