Adrienne Hessel Lissner, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, died March 10, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born in New York City in 1931 and was the only child of Frederick and Mary Hessel. In 1954 Addie married Bart Lissner and they were happily married for 30 years. She is survived by their eight children; Lee & (Tom-deceased) Lamming, Amy & (Kevin) O'Brien, Chris (& Dawn Martin) Lissner, Ken & (Candace Currier) Lissner, Cindy & (Larry) Hartley, Jenny Lissner, Kathy Lissner-Grant, Michael Lissner; and their 22 grandchildren, Fred, Luke, Peter, Zach, & Grace Lamming; Kelsey, Courtney, Patrick, Molly, & Daniel O'Brien; Bart, Marie, & Joe Lissner; Elizabeth, Kevin, & Antonio Lissner; Don & Anna Hartley; Will & Jake Richerson; Luke & Guinevere Lissner; and their 3 great-grandchildren, Kipten Lamming-Guptill, Nathan Lamming, & Dakota McAndrew. Addie graduated from Manhattanville College with a degree in Psychology. She was an avid bridge player who achieved Life Master. For many years she served on the Board of Trustees for St. Joseph West Hospital. She was also a member of the Wentzville School Board for 18 years, serving in all capacities including Secretary, Treasurer, & President. There will be Memorial Mass on Thursday, March 14th at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 405 S. Church St., Wentzville, Missouri. The Celebration of Life will immediately follow the mass at the church social hall until 2:00 PM. Everyone is invited to attend one or both events.
