Agnes M. Benne, of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 89 on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis E. Benne; her parents, Anton and Alma Boessen; and her siblings, Flora Kirkweg, Bernadine Bax, Phillip Boessen, John Boessen, and Norbert Boessen.
Agnes is survived by her children, Elaine Sweeten, Roger (Cheri) Benne, William (Janet) Benne, Daniel Benne, Ellen (Daniel) Krieger, Ruth (Matthew) Freeman, and Ann (Brian) Bekebrede; her seventeen grandchildren; her seventeen great-grandchildren; her siblings, Sr. Anne Boessen and David (Agnes) Boessen; and she was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Memorial contributions in Agnes’s name may be made to Masses or to Catholic Charities.

Our dear sweet mother Agnes left this world early morning of Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Mom was born in the small town of St. Thomas, Missouri, raised on a farm and grew up in a large loving family. She moved to St. Louis, married Louis Benne and there raised their seven children in St. Charles. She was a loving wife and mother. She was a wonderful homemaker and lived her life as a devout Catholic. Her treasures in life were her family and grandchildren.
