Agnes C. Schlenke

Agnes C. Schlenke (nee: Ell), of St. Peters, MO, died on Monday, February 2, 2015, at the age of 91. She was born April 1, 1923 in St. Peters, MO. Wife of the late Wilfred C. (Fritz) Schlenke; daughter of the late Arthur and Cecilia Ell; mother of Walter (Sherry) Schlenke, Elaine Schwent, and Marsha (Doug) Peters; grandmother of Greg (Rachael) Schwent, Dr. Breinne (Matt) Schlenke-Beard, Stephanie (Mark) Morgan, and Derek Peters; great-grandmother of Racan & Sekih Schwent and Cora & Lena Morgan; sister of Gerry Koester, Virginia (Fred Sr.) Bethmann, and Eugene Ell, in-laws Marion Schlenke and Charles (Laverne) Schlenke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Agnes is preceded in death by her grandson Adam Schlenke and her siblings Agnella (Al) Koester, Lucille (Raymond) Schneider, Anna Mae (Everett) Kreder, Art Ell, Jr., and Bernice (Gil) Shepard, and in-laws John Koester, Loyola (Paul) Leistner and Edward Schlenke.
Agnes was a long-time resident of St. Peters and the St. Peters Senior Village, until her recent move to The Villas in Desoto, MO. Agnes was a life-long member of All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters and was retired after many years of employment in the home of August A. Busch, III.
