Ell, Agnes (Nee Post), of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the age of 93. Beloved Wife, and Life Time Partner of the late Ferdinand (Ferd) Ell. Dear Mother and Mother In Law of Joseph (Joe) & Judy Ell, Waynesboro, Pa., Elaine & Ed Kofron, James (Jim) & Ruth Ell, St. Charles, Mo, and Sherry & Bob Shelby, Plant City, Fl. Dearest Grandmother of: Wendy Brunner, Pa., Jenny Speek, In., Julie Peters, Hickory, NC., Stephen Kofron, St. Charles, Shelley Armstrong, Richmond Heights, Mo., Doug Ell, Fenton, Mo., Scott Shelby, and Stacie Hall, Plant City, Fl. Agnes had 17 Great-Grandchildren, and 60 Nieces and Nephews. Agnes had a full Life, She was born May 7th, 1917. While her oldest Brother Al was serving in the Army, (World War 1), she watched her husband, brother, Anthony & twin brother John Post serve in World War 2 and her Son, Joe serve in the Vietnam War, all came home safely. After raising her family of four children; in the early 1960’s she owned and operated the Chicken Shack, on North 2nd, St. Charles, Mo. Later she then worked and retired from Thro’s & Michelle’s Clothing after 20 years of service in Sept. 1986. To her family and friends, she will always be remembered for her love, kindness, forgiveness, and the many prayers she bestowed upon us. We will never forget how she always welcomed everyone with open arms, and her beautiful smile. We were blessed to have her in our lives, she will be sincerely missed. Agnes was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Agnes was a Life Time Member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and of the St. Charles County Historical Society. She enjoyed Dancing, Sewing, Working Puzzles, Baking Cookies, and her many years of Bowling. She gave up her love for bowling when she became ill at the age of 91. Agnes was preceded in death by; Her Dear Parents, Frank & Anna Post, Dardenne, Mo., Six Brothers; Al (Aloysius) Leo, Frank, Werner, Anthony, and John Post. Seven Sisters; Angela Orf, Florence Orf, Olivia Dickherber, Isalbelle Costello, Marie Coats, Helen Orf, and Johanna Post. Memorials may be made to Masses at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
