Agnes M. Graveman

Agnes Mary Graveman (nee Enright), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Donald Frederick Graveman; cherished daughter of the late John Joseph and Agnes Helen Enright. Devoted mother of Mary Losapio, Jo Ann (William) Trogdon, William (Kathleen) Graveman, Martha (Michael) Young, Donald (Dianna) Graveman, Kathleen Graveman, and Susan (Daniel Lange) Graveman; loving grandmother of 24; treasured great-grandmother of 27; dear sister of Helen Bollner; sister-in-law of Joyce Enright; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers, John "Jack" Enright, Joseph Enright, and James (Carolyn) Enright; brother-in-law, Fred Bollner; and son-in-law, Salvatore Losapio.

Agnes was a dedicated educator, teaching biology and botany at the collegiate level at the University of Missouri and Rockhurst University in Kansas City. It was at Rockhurst University’s parents' weekend that she met her husband, Don. They married in June 1973, and she lovingly adopted all seven of their children, setting a record at the time for the largest adoption in the county.

A woman of deep faith, Agnes lived by example, instilling strong values in her family. She was incredibly involved in her children's lives, serving as PTO president, a Girl Scout leader, and a substitute teacher. She was also an active member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization Chapter JY for many years. Alongside Don, she started and managed several small businesses.

Agnes had a photographic memory and an unwavering devotion to her family. She selflessly cared for her parents and in-laws in their later years. More than anything, she cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with love and guidance. Agnes was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Agnes's name to Birthright St. Charles or Duchesne High School.
