Albert Kauffmann

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or donor's choice. Albert "Al" Kauffmann, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Mary J. Kauffmann (nee: Hughes); dear son of the late Erwin and Edna Kauffmann; devoted father of Sue (Jim) Merz, Judy Kauffmann, and Margaret (Mike) Hay; cherished grandfather of Julie Merz, Mitchell Hay, and Natalia Hay; beloved father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Al is preceded in death by his sister Betty Hibbler and aunt Fern Biddle. Al retired from Hussmann Refrigeration Company where he was a Foreman for 17 years. He also enjoyed woodworking, was an avid fan of the baseball Cardinals, loved to enter sweepstakes contests and was devoted to his grandchildren.
