Albert M. Detert

Beloved husband of the late Doris Detert; loving father of Janet Haag (Fritz), Cathy Dickey (Paul), Karen Eggemeyer (Kevin) and the late Linda Detert; dear brother of the late Emmett F. Detert and the late Lorene Burnside; proud grandfather of five and great-grandfather of four; preceded in death by parents, Albert M., Sr. and Emma L. Detert. Mr. Detert was a retired Certified Public Accountant and was employed by Bachman Machine Company in St. Louis for 40 years. He proudly served in the United States Airforce and was the founder of the British American 8th Air Force Museum. He was also a life member of the St. Louis 8th Air Force Historical Society and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5012 in O'Fallon, MO.
