Alford Wayne Brown Sr.

Alford Wayne Brown Sr. of Saint Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 88 on Monday, April 19, 2021. Alford was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Della Pearline Brown; his parents, Carlos and Lillie Brown; his grandson, Nathan Larson; his son-in-law, Steve Larson, and his daughter-in-law, Luanne Brown.

He is survived by his children, Mike Brown, Wayne (Helen) Brown, Cynthia Larson, Angela (Brian) Meisenheimer, and Bill (Denni) Brown; his grandchildren, Eric, Melissa, Michelle, Julia, Nick, Sam, Ryan, Jake, Kelle, Evan, and Kristen; his seventeen great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Carlos "Cork" (Delores) Brown and Vivian Shaw.

Alford enjoyed a successful career with Laclede Gas for forty-two years. He enjoyed taking his sons dirt biking and loved that opportunity for them to bond together. His bond with Angela was sharing their military experiences and Cindy lived next door to her parents and was their caregiver for several years. In later years, Alford was fond of golfing and was always looking forward to traveling with his wife and making memories together at their destinations. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Alford's name may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
