Alfred "Al" N. Chin

Alfred “Al” N. Chin, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the age of 71. Loving husband of Stevie Chan; beloved son of the late Poi Sam Chin and Soo Yat Eng; devoted father of Dan Chin; stepfather of Pakman Poon; dear brother of Gail (the late Eugene) Sit; brother-in-law of Judy Chin, Connie (the late James) Chan, Sandy Chan and Eden (Cindy) Chan; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Al is also preceded in death by his brothers, Alan Chin and Albert Chin; and sister-in-law, Christina Chan. 

Al cherished spending time with family and friends by going on countless fishing trips, hosting BBQs and holiday parties. He loved golfing, fishing, boating, cars, and home improvement projects. He was always perfecting his golf swings, fishing techniques, and reading up on the latest car trends. His houses showcased his craftsmanship through the landscaped exterior and the beautiful interior that was perfect for all gatherings he hosted with Stevie. You could often find Al by a pool table shooting a good game of 8 ball which he was very good at. Al was selfless and always put his family and others first. He worked hard to provide for his family and always made sure they had everything they needed and more.  Al was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Al's memory to Mid-America Buddhist Association.
