Alfred "Hap" J. Eck, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the age of 75, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of 18 years to Joan Eck; dear son of the late Francis Joseph Eck and Bernadine Eck; devoted father of Stephanie (Rick) Neckermann, Scott (Tena) Eck, Brian Eck, Cheryl (Steve) Bull, Brian Owens, Kent (Vickie) Owens, Mark Owens, and Chris Owens; cherished grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 1; dear brother of Francis "Mick" (Bev) Eck, Jr. and Ameila (Paul) Grotzinger. He is preceded in death by former wife Mary Grace, his siblings Helen Streck, Lenora Nichols, Theresa Modglin, Vincent "Wink" Eck, and Leonard "Lenny" Eck.
