Alfred Leon “Al” Richard

Richard, Alfred Leon "Al", a full time traveler since 1987, died on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the age of 81. He was a country boy that remained a country boy with strong moral beliefs throughout his life. Beloved son of the late Truman and Anna Richard; loving life partner of Viola Krenzer; devoted step-father of Sherri Gillespie, and father of Kathleen Hanson, Kristine Richard and Karrie Cunningham (honorary father of Stuart Cunningham); cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; dear brother of Dorothy, Kathryn, Bette, James, Mervyn and Charles; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many. He is preceded in death by his wife, Denise S. Richard; his step-son, Randy Gillespie; and his siblings, Harvey, George, William, Carlton, June and Beatrice.
