Alfred W. Budde

Budde, Alfred W., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 90. Born August 19, 1924 to Alfred E. and Irene Bloebaum Budde; beloved husband for 66 years to Miriam F. (Rau) Budde; loving father of Dennis J. (Judy) Budde, Joanne J. (James) Rapp, Richard J. (Deborah) Budde and Ellen J. (John) Baucom; beloved grandfather of Jessica (Ryan) Burger, Jason Budde, Derek Budde, Jaclyn (Mark) Hey, Amber (Brian) Hostkoetter, Joel Rapp, T.J. Baucom, Mark Budde, Tyler Baucom, Alyssa Budde, Jenna Budde and Jared Budde; treasured great-grandfather of Alexis, Connor, Austin, Gabrielle, Evelyn and Charles. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Anna Marie Lueck, Dorothy Budde, Helen Brunme and Ruth Cullom, and brothers Fred Budde and Lloyd Budde.
Alfred was the owner of Budde Bros Service Station until retirement. He was an avid bowler, and St. Louis Cardinals and Missouri Tigers Fan. Alfred also loved to play pinochle. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church since birth, Immanuel's Counting Group for over 25 years, American Legion Post 312 and VFW Post 2866, and Ballast Pits Club. Alfred served in the Army Signal Corp in Europe during World War II, from 1943-1945.
