Alice Meers

Alice Meers, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the age of 82. Loving wife of the late Paul A. "Moon" Meers; dear daughter of the Lloyd A. and Greta Copenhaver; devoted mother of Judi Redd, Pam (John) Purtle, Todd Meers, and Paula Meers; cherished grandmother of Courtney Redd, Stephanie Purtle, and step-grandmother of Kristi Hare; dear sister of Lloyd "Frank" (Beth) Copenhaver, the late Jim Copenhaver and the late Bobby Lou Drebes.
Alice was a bookkeeper at Banze and Hoffman Construction for many years before she retired and was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, quilting, needlework, and many other arts and crafts. Her greatest passion in life was always her family; she deeply loved her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
