Beloved husband of the late Barbara Huning (nee Heseman); loving father of Matthew Allan (Kelly) Huning, Mary Barbara (Bill) Combs; dear grandfather of Zachary (Krystle), Alexandria and Madison Huning, and Daniel (Holly), Joseph and Olivia Combs; great grandfather of Dawson, Aydrien and Amelia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and beloved sister, Connie Gardner. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Allan was born in St. Louis, MO on January 8, 1938 and married Barb in 1960 at Grace Chapel Lutheran Church in St. Louis. Allan was a lifelong Lutheran and member of King of Kings Lutheran Church. He had a fulfilling career and was active in the St. Louis Community, and his church. He and Barb were avid travelers and enjoyed entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
Services to be determined at King of Kings Lutheran Church.
