Memorials may be made to American Lung Association or Masses. Allan Joseph Kohles, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the age of 84. Allan was born and raised on a farm which is now Gavin's Point Dam on the Missouri River near Crofton, Nebraska to the late Peter and Elizabeth Kohles. He was a Rancher and Farmer, bred and raised appaloosa horses and cattle. He also designed and manufactured farm machinery through his own company, Kohles Welding and Repairs in Bloomfield, Nebraska. Allan is survived by his dear wife Olivia K. Kohles (nee: Kast), whom he married October 22, 1946; his daughter Leean Sigle of Loveland, Colorado and her children Trecia Sigle-Jackel (Steve), Shane Sigle and Gavin Sigle, M.D.; daughter Alane Jensen of Miami Florida and her children Dawn and Chad Jensen and Alane's grandson Aiden; daughter Lori Geisman (Dr. Richard) of St. Charles, Missouri and her children Taylor and Mackenzie Geisman; daughter-in-law Jane Bruns; two brothers, Dale Kohles of Bloomfield, Nebraska and Melvin Kohles (Barbara) of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his son Randy Joseph Kohles and son-in-law W. Wayne Sigle. Allan is a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Allan worked for United Airlines modifying B-17s during WWII in Cheyenne, Wyoming, was a lifetime adult member of St. Andrews Catholic Church Knights of Columbus and was currently a member of St. Cletus Catholic Church of St. Charles, Missouri.
