Allen J. Boschert of St. Paul, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Church at the age of 75 on Monday, September 30, 2019.
Loving husband of forty-six years to Carol J. Boschert (nee: Simon); devoted father of Art (Cary) Boschert, Ann (Harry) Eggering, Karen (Chris) Wheadon, Mary Jo (Bart) Steinhoff, Carla (Tim) Eggering, Jean (Nick) Kaimann and Alex (Krystal) Boschert; cherished grandfather of twenty-one grandchildren; dear brother of Ruth (Marvin) Bader, Mary Jane (Orville) Schroeder, Shirley (George) Smith, Claude (Nancy) Boschert, Rich (Alice) Boschert, Kathy (Rick) Coleman, and Sharon (Rich) Wulf; he was a loving brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Elizabeth Boschert, his son, Alex Boschert, grandchildren, Maggie Kate and Haven Boschert; his sisters Ruth Bader and Sharon Wulf.
Allen was a faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the St. Paul Knights of Columbus. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War (1965-1967) and was a helicopter mechanic for the Army’s “Huey” helicopters. He was a third-generation farmer who was a steward of the land and proud of everything he had. Allen was a charter member of the Orchard Farm VFW Post #4219, a member of the American Legion Post #420 in Old Monroe. He belonged to Frank’s Heroes Guitar Club, and he was a 4-H alum and a supporter of the St. Charles County Fair. Allen was a great father and grandfather who taught his children and grandchildren the importance of faith, family, and hard work. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
