Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Evercare Hospice and Palliative. HELTON, Alvera C. "Vera", of St. Charles, Missouri, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the age of 91. Dearest wife of the late Charles Victor Helton; dear daughter of the late Cornelius and Louise Kramer; loving mother of Joyce L. Montgomery and the late Richard C. Hefton; beloved grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 6. She was preceded in death by 20 brothers and sisters. Vera was a member of the New Life Baptist Church, Florissant, Missouri. She was a member for over 50 years and had the distinction of being the oldest member. Vera also taught Sunday School for 25 years.
