Alvera S. Schmidt

Schmidt, Alvera S., (nee: Diekamp) of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, January 3, 2016, at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Nolan Schmidt; beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Selma Diekamp; devoted mother of Jerald “Jerry” (Kathy) Schmidt; cherished grandmother of Brad Schmidt, Kelly (Richard) Ruops, and Scott (Shay) Schmidt; treasured great-grandmother of Michaela Woods, Landon Schmidt, Savannah Schmidt, and Aryanna Ruops; dear sister of Elmer Diekamp and Louise Graveman; and loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her siblings Herbert Diekamp, Verna Schwede, Arthur Diekamp, Jr., Evelyn Kyle, Dorothy Mallinckrodt,  Alice Graveman, and Leona Mallinckrodt.
