Alvin Coad

St. Charles, Missouri

Alvin Charles Coad, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Mary Alma Coad; devoted son of the late Harry and Mable (nee Brooks) Coad; loving father of the late Sandra (Bill surviving) Moore, Barbara (Jeff) Croyle, Curtis (Gail) Miller, and Deborah (Mike) Rine; cherished grandfather of ten; precious great-grandfather of 20; and dear brother of Joyce Pendleton. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Alvin was preceded in death by his two brothers, Wayne Coad and Stanley Coad, as well as his sister, Rosemary Jordan. 

Alvin was an employee of General Motors for over thirty years. A dedicated worker, there was nothing that he could not fix. Alvin was involved in several activities over the years. In his free time, Alvin enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also was a bowler and a golfer. 

Alvin was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made in Alvin's name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
