Johns, Alysia V. (nee: Christifulli), of O’Fallon, MO, died on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at the age of 59. Beloved daughter of Salvadore Christifulli and the late Mildred May Christifulli; devoted mother of Mandy (Joshua) Werremeyer and Shannon Johns; cherished grandmother of Kaylie Werremeyer, Dominic Werremeyer, and Alysha Johns; dear sister of Judith Campbell and Dawn (Clyde) Vincent; best friend of Julie (Eddie) Griffith. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Alfred and Violet Beske and her uncle Milton Beske.
Alysia studied Criminal Justice at Florissant Valley Community College, then went on to be a Police Officer and Detective with the St. Louis County Police Department for 10 years. After her children were born she was a substitute teacher for 8 years with the Ft. Zumwalt and Wright City School Districts. Alysia was a member of Westlake Church of Christ in Wentzville. She loved giving back to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Backstoppers. Most of all she loved being with her family.
