Ambrose Schulte

Ambrose J. Schulte, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Rita H. Schulte (nee Ochs); father of Bonnie (Don) Hessling, Don (Linda) Schulte, Dan (JoAnn) Schulte and Beckie (Bob) Hemsath; grandfather of 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Frances (nee Thielmann) Schulte; and his siblings, Marcella Reimer, Loretta Wiechens, and Andrew Schulte.

Ambrose was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Dardenne. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Eventually he turned his passion towards starting his own business, and was Co-Owner of Schulte Brothers Store in Cottleville for 22 years, and Owner of Wagon Master Antiques in Dardenne for 45 years.

Memorial contributions are suggested to National Shrine of St. Jude or American Cancer Society.




Luncheon  following burial to be held in the basement of Immaculate Conception Church.
