Amy Dot Schomaker

Amy Dot Schomaker, of Portage Des Sioux, Missouri, died on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the age of 34. Dear daughter of Tom and Jan Schomaker; treasured sister of Amber Schomaker and Andy (Melissa) Schomaker; dear aunt of Tessah Miller Schomaker, Phillip "Trison" Kendal, and Jackson Thomas Schomaker; and cherished niece, cousin, and friend to many. Amy was an Honored Queen of Jobs Daughters and a Co-Leader for the Girl Scouts. Amy was involved throughout her life with Washington University research studies for epilepsy. She chose to donate her body for future hope of others to one day have a cure for epilepsy. She was also involved for ten years with the LEADD program, sponsored by Emmaus Homes.
