Amy JoEtta Morten

Amy JoEtta Morten, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the age of 48.  Loving and devoted mother of Edward (Elaina) Knox Jr., Marcus (Cierra Beatty) Knighten, Rachel (Devonta Matthews) Morten, and Erik Morten; beloved daughter of Margaret (Kevin) Hagemann and Steven (Sue) Morten; cherished GiGi of Emilia Knox, Marcus Knighten II, Anari Matthews, and Josiah Cash; dearest sister of Kenny (Tina) Hagemann, Keith (Shelly) Hagemann, Stephanie Morten, Courtney (Andy) Wendler, and Amber Morten.  

Amy was a loving mom & dad, GiGi, sister, daughter, and friend. She was selfless and compassionate, and a truly loving person who fought, not just for herself, but for her family. She was not just a mother to her kids, but to her kids' friends as well and loved them as her own.  She had a great sense of humor and was always down for whatever ridiculousness her family had going on. She loved doing anything with her kids and grandkids, and she was always available to take her grandkids to McDonalds. She was always up for anything and would make it fun. She was a fun-loving person, but had no problem telling you if you were messing up and what you needed to do to keep you straight.  

Amy loved butterflies and visiting The Butterfly House with her family. She enjoyed crafting, especially bows, and coloring. She liked to go shopping with her daughter, fishing with her son, adventures with her sisters, attending her kids' sporting events, and playing with her grandkids.  She also liked watching home renovation shows, and cartoons with her grandkids. 

Amy loved the paranormal and watching Ghost Adventures, which was her all-time favorite show.  Losing Amy is a tremendous loss, she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Amy's name to Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House.
