Andrea Giorgi

Andrea Giorgi, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Vita M. Giorgi; cherished son of the late Nicolo and Rosa Giorgi. Devoted father of Nick (Sally) Giorgi and the late Rosa Alba Bird; loving grandfather of Andrew Bird, Adam Bird, Andrew (Jordyn) Giorgi, Marie (Brandon) White, Katie Linford, and Krissie Linford; treasured great-grandfather of Anistyn and Baby G. Giorgi, Elise and James Bird, Gage Syberg, and Gavin Schearer. Preceded in death by sister, Girolama Stallone.

Andrea's journey spans continents and careers, beginning in the sun-soaked landscapes of Sicily before embarking on adventures across Switzerland, Sweden, and Germany. In 1971, he steered his family's course towards new horizons, settling in St. Louis, Missouri. For a decade, Andrea dedicated himself to working for R and F Spaghetti. After a brief stint exploring other facets of the restaurant industry, he found solace back at R and F. In 1985, Andrea retired and moved to Irondale. Here, amidst sprawling fields, he cultivated a newfound love for farming, nurturing apple trees and caring for his beloved goats, a serene finale to a life rich in experiences. Andrea was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Andrea's name to Shriners' Children's Hospital.
