Ann Marguerite “Marge” Williams

January 28, 1924 — April 6, 2015

Williams, Ann Marguerite 'Marge' of Saint Charles, MO, formerly of New Bloomfield, MO, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Monday, April 6, 2015, at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late James A. Williams, Jr.; beloved daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Teresa G. Dyer; devoted mother of Ann (Dr. Ralph Pollack) Herrmann, Mary Jo (Steve) Hippe, Clare (Dr. Bruce) DuMontier, Paul David Williams, Bernard (Monika) Dyer Williams, the late James A. "Jim" Williams, III and his wife Ruth Williams; cherished grandmother of Jamie (Jesica) Williams, Julie Williams, Joseph (Jovielyn) Herrmann, John (Hillary) Herrmann, Sarah Hippe, Bill (Lauren) Hippe, Ben DuMontier, Dr. Clark (Dr. Raina) DuMontier, Christopher Williams and Natascha Williams; treasured great-grandmother of Jaylin Walker, Graham Hippe, Jace Williams and John Everett Herrmann; dear sister of Mary G. (the late Andy) McColloch, Patrick (Ruth) H. Dyer and Frederick (Rose) T. Dyer. She is preceded in death by her siblings Bernard Dyer, Lawrence Dyer and Francelyn Davis.
Marge graduated from St. Louis University in 1945, and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.  After more than 40 years of teaching, she retired from the Missouri Public Schools, including Fulton Public Schools, and tutoring for Oasis at Lincoln Elementary.  She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and was very devoted to her Catholic faith and strong in her service to God.  Marge was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the N.E.A., the M.S.T.A., and GFWC Janus.  She was a former member of Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.  She had a lifelong passion for History and Geneology, and was a member of the St. Charles Historical Society and the New Bloomfield Historical Society.  In her spare time, Marge enjoyed reading, playing bridge, and traveling.  She was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
