Ann N. Back (nee Weidenkeller), of St. Louis, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 85. Loving wife and best friend of 52 years to the late Edward Back; beloved daughter of the late Francis and Mary E. Weidenkeller; devoted mother of Cynthia A (David Goodman) Back, Douglas (Nancy) Back, Karen M Back-Moore, Jane C (Scott) Stein, and Carolyn (David) Beard; cherished grandmother of Hannah, Lauren (Jonathan), Zack (Dakota), Chali, Cecily, Allie, Nikki, Nadine; treasured great-grandmother of Noah and Naomi.
Ann was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She loved her family and was especially proud of her title as Nana. Ann enjoyed spending time volunteering for Meals on Wheels, she had a very generous heart. Ann would sew for many hours a day working on baby quilts that she would donate to mothers and children in need. Ann was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Ann's name to Humane Society of Missouri.
For the safety of family and friends due to Covid-19, the family will be holding a small and private funeral service.
