Ann Prenavo

July 27, 1929 — March 24, 2014

Ann Prenavo, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014 at the age of 84. Dear daughter of the late George and Adeline Hempen; devoted mother of Phyllis (Gordon) McDole and Scott (Amy) Prenavo; cherished grandmother of Colleen McDole; and dear sister of Sylvia Granda.
Ann was a Bookkeeper at Vee-Jay Cement for 18 years. She also volunteered her time at St. Catherine's School as a room mother, teacher aid, Ladies Club, and also assisted with cleaning the church. She also volunteered at St. Peters City Hall and her granddaughters' grade school. Ann was also active in numerous clubs, such as the Ladies in South County, Monday Breakfast Club, Block Captain for Southern Oaks, Social Committee for Southern Oaks, and the Canasta Club.
Ann's greatest joy in life was always her family. After she retired, she sold her house of 35 years just to move to St. Charles to be close to her daughter and family. She also enjoyed some new hobbies after retirement, beading calendars and making grape jelly for Christmas gifts. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
