Ann Rita Hagan (nee Prevedel), fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Rita was born March 21, 1932 in St. Louis, MO to Italian immigrants Silvio “Steve” and Giovanna “Jennie” Prevedel. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Hagan. They were married May 12, 1956.
Loving mother of Kathleen (the late William Jr) Huber and Deborah (Mike) Welch; dearest grandmother of Lauren (Brian) Maher, William lll (Elyse) Huber, Katherine (Aidan) Lorsbach, Miles Huber, and Alexandria Welch. Best GG ever to Molly, Anna, William lV, and Raymond; dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Rita was preceded in death by her daughter Gloria Arns, son-in-law William Huber, Jr and granddaughter Emily Huber.
Rita was a wonderful homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She and her late husband Ray enjoyed traveling, trout fishing and walking the beaches of the gulf coast of Alabama. She enjoyed walking, reading and shopping.
She was a member of St. Cletus Catholic Church and loved her church family. She was active with the Senior Cletes, volunteered in the school cafeteria, provided and served funeral meals, enjoyed exercise classes, and participated in Eucharistic Adoration.
Rita brought joy wherever she went, and never knew a stranger! She moved to Decatur, Illinois in her final years where she spent much time with her daughter Debbie. Her family would like to thank all her care givers and friends at Hickory Point Christian Village and Safe Haven Hospice of Forsyth, Illinois.

In honoring Rita’s wishes, her urn will be interred with her husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, Missouri.
