Anna F. Bohlen (nee Noah), of Foley, MO, passed away amongst loved ones, peacefully at home, on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Elmer Charles Bohlen, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Coolie and Cora Noah; devoted mother of Elmer Charles (Deborha) Bohlen, Jr., Mary (the late Gerald) Lindemann, and the late Carol (Dennis survives) Engelmeyer; dear sister of Barbara (the late Don) Lawson, Dorothy (the late Kermit) Brinkman, and the late Mary Ruth (Lewis) Manthey, and the late Eddie (Janet) Noah. Anna enjoyed a lengthy career at McDonnell Douglas, and was fortunate enough to meet some of America’s founding astronauts. Among them, she met and spoke to John Glenn, who was kind enough to give her a tour of the space capsule and training facility. Anna was a longtime member of VFW Post 8828. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and painting, and she was passionate about playing Bingo. Anna is fondly remembered for her fun and goodhearted nature, and she loved to tell people her favorite personal saying - "You just wait till you get my age!” Anna was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anna’s honor to VFW Post 8828.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
