Anne Mercedes McPike Nelson

Anne Mercedes Nelson (nee McPike), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the age of 77. Cherished daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth McPike; devoted mother of Michael "Chris" (Tracey) Nelson and the late Nils Erik Nelson; loving grandmother of Emily Nelson; dear sister of Linda; dear friend of Jody Staten, Gay Sue Gorham, and Felicia “Pup” Bowers.

Anne was very generous and would donate to The Smithsonian, St. Jude’s, Oklahoma State University and to the Friars of the Atonement. She (prior to retirement) loved her teaching career of elementary and Jr. High children.  She was also an avid reader and loved to cook. She crafted dolls and enjoyed traveling especially to France. Anne was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Anne's name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
