Anne M. Rodgers

Anne M. Rodgers (nee Newsome), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Charles L. Rodgers; cherished daughter of the late Cleveland and Della Newsome. Devoted mother of Cynthia "Cyndi" J. (Gary) Wahle, Robin (Mike) Welker, Mark (Becky) Rodgers, and Jillanne (Bruce) Cornevin; loving grandmother of 19; treasured great-grandmother of 26; great great-grandmother of 9; loving mother-in-law of Beth Rodgers, Leslie (Brad) Rodgers-Dennis; dear sister-in-law of Marietta Newsome; dear aunt and cousin of many extended family members. Preceded in death by four sons, Eddie Rodgers, Michael (the late Chris Rodgers) Rodgers, David Rodgers, and Kenny Rodgers; two Brothers, Billy Gene Newsome and Bobby Ray Newsome; two Sisters, Dorothy Gourley and Margie Joe Newsome.

Anne was an active member of First Baptist Church of St. Charles and the WMU (Women's Missionary Union), Quilting within a group of ladies at the church. She was always a giving person and she genuinely cared about people. Anne enjoyed playing cards and games and putting together puzzels. Anne was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Anne's name to Wounded Warriors or First Baptist Church of St. Charles Student Ministries or Shiners Hospital.
