Anthony August Bracht

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer Association. Anthony A. Bracht, of Wentzville, Missouri, died on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Mildred Gladys Bracht; dear son of the late August P. and the late Rose M. Bracht; devoted father of Bonnie J. Tuepker, Joann (Jack) Witt, Dolores (Carl) Davis and Mary K. Wiss; cherished grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of 19 and great-great grandfather of 3; dear brother of Lurlene Luce; beloved uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his son Dennis D. Bracht, and brothers Herbert L. and Raymond F. Bracht and sister Roselee Bracht. Anthony was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Woodworking was one of his specialties; his family fondly remembers the stools he made for them when they were children. He also made a Chinese Checkerboard; playing Chinese Checkers was on of his favorite pastimes.
