Deacon Anthony G. 'Tony' Trautman of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 51 years of Nancy Trautman (nee: Redell); devoted father of Rod (Lori) Trautman of Elk Rapids, MI, Dan (Connie) Trautman of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Beth (Mike) Kendall of Chesterfield, MO; loving grumps of Andrew Trautman, Adam Trautman, Alec Trautman, Katie Trautman, Tim Trautman, Mark Trautman, Sydney Kendall, Peyton Kendall, and Chase Kendall; cherished son of the late Gilbert and Isabel Trautman; brother of Charles (Norma) Trautman, the late John Trautman, and the late Ann (Mel) Roettger.
Tony was a fun-loving husband, father, grumps, friend, farmer, and Deacon. He farmed near Old Monroe, MO for 38 years and he served as Deacon at Immaculate Conception Parish for over 20 years. Deacon Tony worked at homeless shelters, visited prisons and touched so many people in ways we will never fully know. He may have had a weak heart but it certainly didn't lack love. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
