(nee: Machens), of Foristell, Missouri, died on Friday, January 2, 2009 at the age of 69. Dear wife of Norbert J. Schaeffer; dear daughter of the late Sylvester and Isabelle Machens; cherished mother of Lisa (Mark) Sammelman, Larry (Amelia) Schaeffer, Gary (Jill) Schaeffer and Lynda (Mike) McAdon; loving grandmother of 9; proud great-grandmother of 2; dear sister of Jim (Mary) Machens and Kathy (Dan) Travers; beloved sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She was a seamstress and owner of Custom Draperies by Toni in Foristell, Missouri. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Her strong will and determination was an inspiration to her family as she faced many battles with her illness. She was blessed with a gift of style and creativity which she passed to her children, which will be her legacy and gift to them forever.
