Arletta Shields

Arletta B. Shields, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 94. Dear wife of the late Jack Shields, Loving daughter of the late Peder and Gerda Pederson; devoted mother of Vicki (Randall) Lenssen, Jeanne Gach and Sandy Skinner; loving grandmother of Alex, Windrew, the late Kim, Melanie and Jennifer and great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Agnes and Robert. Arletta is preceded in death by her son Jack “JJ” Shields and siblings, Ivan, Carl, Marie and Anna.

Arletta loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed traveling, especially in her RV and she took yearly trips to Arizona. She was also very proud of her Norwegian heritage and traveled to Norway with her sister Marie which was one of her favorite memories. Arletta was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
