Arline C Kern

Kern, Arline C. (nee: Schmidt), of St. Peters, MO, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Elmer B. Kern; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Schmidt; devoted mother of Richard (Georgia) Kern, Steven (Deborah) Kern, and Jim (Melissa) Kern; loving grandmother of Tim Rice, Greg Rice, Karen Stultz, Daniel Kern, Cindy Nute, Jeffrey Kern, Angie Kern, Allison Kern, Jason Kern, Nathan Kern, Brandon Kern, and Dana Stephens; treasured great-grandmother of Devon, Brady, Ty, Chase, Brandon, Malichi, Micah, Hailey, Trenton, Tatum, Tia, and Hudson; dear sister of Carl (Joan) Schmidt. Arline is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Arline was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Ann Rice, and her brothers, Charles Schmidt II and Raymond Schmidt.

Arline was a member of the Eastern Star, Moolah Shrine Temple Club. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her extended family at Brooksdale. Arline was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
