Armin Edward “Jr” Hemsath

Hemsath, Armin Edward "Jr", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the age of 79. Loving husband of the late Joan A. Hemsath; dear son of the late Armin O. and Aeileen Hemsath; devoted father of Connie (Ralph) Pickering, Zoe (Bob) Harper, and Karla (Tony) Lawson; cherished grandfather of Larissa (Drew), Shelby (John), Meghan (Adam), Jorden, Lauren, and Erin; great-grandfather "Paw-Paw" of Cohen, Franklin, and Ramsey. He is preceded in death by his siblings Kenneth Hemsath, Norbert Hemsath, and Melba Kolkmeier. Jr's favorite past time was playing softball and baseball, and he was inducted into the St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame and the St. Louis County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to: St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame or Friedens United Church of Christ General Fund.
