Arthur A. Tegethoff
November 30, 1927 — February 6, 2015
Tegethoff, Arthur A., of O'Fallon, MO, passed away on Friday February 6, 2015, at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Dorothy Tegethoff; beloved son of the late Henry and Mary Tegethoff; devoted father of JoAnn Chambers, John (Vanessa) Tegethoff, and James (Vicki) Tegethoff; cherished grandfather of Karen (Dwight) Mullen, Curtis, Leah, Andrew, and Stephanie Tegethoff; treasured great-grandfather of Jack and Delaney Mullen. He is preceded in death by his siblings Clem (Virginia) Tegethoff and Ruth (Clem) Pieper.
Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Navy Seabee during WWII and the Korean War. He was the Recorder of Deeds in St. Charles County for 24 years, and a member of VFW Post 5077 O'Fallon, MO., American Legion Post 313 and AMVETS Post 106, both of St. Peters, MO. Arthur loved farming, hunting, and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.
