Arthur Wayne Ault, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Laurie Ault; dear brother of Steve Ault, David (Liz) Ault, and the late Larry Ault; loving uncle to his niece and nephew, and friend to his stepchildren. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Mr., and Mrs. Ault.
Wayne was a proud member of the Society of Creative Anachronism, where he had a forge in his barn, learned to make armor, and taught others the craft. He was also involved with the St. Charles Emergency Communications Association and enjoyed sailing. Passionate about archery, Wayne oversaw a women's archery group and owned six bows along with his beloved bastard sword and other medieval weaponry. He made trebuchets used in Lilies War and Gulf War, received the Fyrd medallion, and was the first to receive the Order of the Wain. As the landed Baron of Puddleford, he was active in outdoor events, and animal rescue was important to both him and Laurie. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
