Arthur E. Hausdorf

Arthur E. Hausdorf, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday October 17, 2018, at the age of 91.  Loving husband of 70 years to the late Virginia L. Hausdorf; devoted son of the late Edward J. and Augusta Hausdorf; devoted father of Chris (Joseph) Stefanko, Douglas A. (Susan) Hausdorf; cherished grandfather of Julie (Jim) Krodel, Jill Amonica, Leah (Mike) Williford, Joe (Casey) Stefanko, and Westley (Julie) Stefanko; treasured great-Grandfather of Nathan Marcus, Danielle Amonica, Addison Williford, Andrew Krodel, Mikah Williford, Grant Krodel, Allie Stefanko, Audrey Stefanko, Landon Stefanko, and Gavin Stefanko; dearest brother of Harold (Mary) Hausdorf and the late Edward Hausdorf;  dear uncle and friend to many.

Arthur retired after more than 35 years as a computer analyst for the U.S. Army Personnel Records Center.  He was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan, and looked forward to watching the games with his wife.  He enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, and reading the newspaper from cover to cover.  Arthur’s favorite game shows were Wheel of Fortune and The Price Is Right.  As an ‘Old Western’ movie fan, his favorite to watch was Gunsmoke.  He enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing, and playing horseshoes.  He truly loved spending time with family, as long as he was beating them at boardgames.  Arthur was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
