Beloved husband of the late Catherine Hipwell; loving father of Kitty (Glen) Monigold and Maureen (James) Horger; proud grandfather of Lori (Kim) Mertz; great-grandfather of Jessica and Kevin Mertz. Mr. Hipwell was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Winifred Hipwell. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or Masses.
