Arthur Frost

Arthur “Art” Frost born Feb. 5, 1934 in Herrick, IL, passed away peacefully on Feb. 21st 2025.

He was the son of Clyde Frost and Sylvia Stoneburner Frost. Art is survived by his son, Brent (Robin) Frost; stepchildren, Steve Purtle, Greg Purtle and Cindy Gallaher. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Amber Sidwell, Nathan Frost, Rachel York, Craig Frost and Mark Frost. Along with eight great-grandchildren and sister, Norma Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Marilyn Schafer Frost; 2nd wife, Bettye Purtle Frost and one son, Dale (Donna) Frost.

Art retired from McDonnell Douglas. He owned three airplanes, the first before he even owned a car, and even built and flew his own airplane. Art also enjoyed flying his model airplanes.

Arthur was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Arthur's name to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
