Dearest husband of the late Bonita Evelyn Meyer; loving father of Doug (Linda) Meyer and Ray (Melissa) Meyer; cherished grandfather of Stephen (Natalie), Drew, and the late Brian Meyer; dear brother of Helen Niedner, and the late Alfred F. ’Slim’ Meyer, Margaret F. LeMone, Herbert F. Meyer and Gustav ’Gus’ Meyer. Mr. Meyer was also preceded in death by his parents Fred H. and Julia C. Meyer (nee: Stille). Arthur was a charter member of the Orchard Farm VFW Post #4219, Quiet Birdmen, American Legion Post #312, St. Charles Country Club Charter Member, Hump Pilots Association, St. Charles County Airport Commission, Orchard Farm Volunteer Fire Department, Trinity Lutheran Church of Orchard Farm life long member, former postmaster of Orchard Farm, constable of Orchard Farm, awarded the Air Medal during WWII, flight instructor Parks Air College, and a pilot for the US Army Air Corps.
