Arthur Lee “Art” Brown

Arthur Lee “Art” Brown, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Bonita Fay Brown; cherished son of the late Moses Lee and Carol Jean Brown. Devoted father of Alexander Brown and Alexandria Brown; stepfather of Erica Brown-Ussery, Qiana Peebles, Jessica Simpson, and Alicia Simpson; loving grandfather of 9 and 1 great grandchild; dear brother of Renee (Melvin) White, Bruce (Dawn) Brown, Clifton (Desta) Brown, and Carey (Casandra) Brown; beloved father-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Art and Bonita shared 24 years of Love and Happiness. Art Loved to Play Baseball, he played professionally in North Carolina and also for the Chicago Cubs. He Loved Christmas. Every year he dressed as Santa Clause and gave gifts to children and adults. Art was a loving, caring, fun loving person. Family was the most important thing in life to him. Art was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Art's name to American Diabetes or St Jude’s Children's Home.
