Arthur Queathem

Queathem, Arthur, of St. Charles, MO, died on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Matilda Queathem; cherished son of the late Arthur and Sylvia Queathem; devoted father of Kathleen Queathem, Vernon (Marilyn) Geile, Thomas (Joanne) Geile, and Christina Geile; loving grandfather of 8, great-grandfather of 16, and great-great-grandfather of 2; dear brother of James (Lynn) Queathem and Joyce Kelly.

Arthur is preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Queathem and his siblings: Bernard Queathem, Eugene Queathem, Richard Queathem, and Ginny Bucheit.

Arthur retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1988 after working there for nearly 37 years. He was a member of the IAM Lodge 837 and American Legion 10^th District Guard of Honor Post 161. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4282 and Charter member of the National World War II Memorial. Arthur’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
