Arthur W. Abney

Abney, Arthur W., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the age of 70. Dearest husband of Shirley Abney nee: Parmer; dear son of the late Leslie P. and Letha Abney; devoted father of Rob (Krista) Abney, Brent (Earlene) Abney, Richard Abney, Robin Younger, Bobbi Campbell, Stephanie Cherry, Christy Dalton and Kelly (Matt) Sinovich; beloved grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 3; dear brother of Arnold Abney and Vernice Englehardt; He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Shirley, brother; Herman, sister, Bert, brother, Leman, sister, Velma, sister; Verda and sister, Norma Jean. Before his retirement, Arthur was a Driver with Be-Mac Trucking for 35 years. Services: The family is being served by The Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO where a Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 11, 2010. Interment at a later date at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Salem, MO.
