In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Dream Factory. Branstetter, Asa "Lank", of St.Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Mary Branstetter (nee: Callahan); dear son of the late Enoch Hall and Ruby R. Branstetter; devoted father of Stephen (Tracey) Branstetter, David (Jill) Branstetter, John Branstetter, Carol (Jim) Eagan, Gail (Joe) Presswood, Robert (Beth) Branstetter, Susan (Tony) Fuller, and Joseph (Tina) Branstetter; cherished grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 8; dear brother of Rachel Kohl and Georgia Warner; special friend of Dorothy Bunten. Lank is preceded in death by his sisters Esther McDowell, Lucille Sturgeon, Julia Kohl, and Eileen Smith. After high school, Lank went to the Naval Flight School in Pensacola, Florida. He proudly served in the Navy during World War II. Lank retired as an Executive VP at Biltwell Company after 56 years of service. He was a member of VFW St. Charles Post 2866.
